Amaral Jewels is a family business. It began with my father in 1981, selling small, everyday gold pieces to women who wanted something real. Solid gold only. Never plated, never silver dressed up as something it isn't. I grew up around that work, and when I started Amaral Jewels here in Australia I kept the one rule he never bent.

Solid gold, and nothing else

Plated jewellery is made to be replaced. The coating wears through, the piece turns, and within a year or two it goes in a drawer. Solid gold behaves differently. It holds its colour, it can be resized and repaired, and it can be handed on. That is the whole reason we only make in solid 9ct, 14ct and 18ct gold.

Made for you, not for a warehouse

Most of our pieces are made to order. It takes a little longer, and we think it is worth it. Nothing sits in a box for a season waiting to be discounted, and every piece is finished with your choice of gold and size in mind.

What comes with every piece

Each piece is hallmarked and arrives with its certificate of authenticity, in our own packaging, with free express shipping across Australia. Whenever it needs freshening up, send it back to us and we will professionally clean and polish it, free, for as long as you own it. The details are on our Amaral Care page.

Getting the fit right

If you are unsure about a size or a length, please ask before you order. Our sizing guide covers rings, chains and bracelets, and we are always happy to talk it through.
